ABOUT ALPHA
We run designer rooms near Santana Row and off-grid mountain homes on well water, septic and generators.
Most managers take one or the other. We're at our best where it's hardest.
Furnished private rooms in San Mateo, Menlo Park and San Jose, a short walk to Hillsdale, Santana Row and Stanford. Made for stays of a few weeks to a few months — a contract in the valley, a hospital rotation, a founder finding their footing, a family here for graduation.
PRIVATE ROOMS IN SILICON VALLEY
Whole homes in Los Gatos, Emerald Hills and Waikiki. A pool under the redwoods, a ridge above the fog, a lanai a few minutes from the sand. Some run on well water and a generator an hour from the nearest store — we look after those too.

We are Stay Alpha Home. We design, list and run a small collection of homes across the San Francisco Bay Area and Honolulu. We are travelers who care where we sleep, and owners who know what a home costs. Every decision we make sits between those two facts.
It started with a suitcase.
I'm Emma. I travel more than most people think is reasonable, and I have spent years bringing what I find — a lamp in Lisbon, a tile pattern in Kyoto, the way light falls in a Honolulu kitchen — back into rooms in California and Hawaii. Alpha began when I realised the homes I designed for myself were the ones guests kept writing about. So I made that the job.
Wherever you go, you spend most of the journey in the place you sleep, cook and come back to. It is the room that anchors the memory you carry home. So we don't build places to pass through. We build places that feel like home the moment you set down the bag — and then a little better than home.
