We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and the host was responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Check-in was easy, and everything we needed was provided. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to Edgewood park which is a good place for hiking. The host was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Check-in was smooth and easy. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

This home was a nice place in the woods. We had plenty of fresh air and sunshine. There was a national park right next to us which was nice to go for a walk on some days with my family as we have little kids.

Emma’s private retreat was perfect! My fiance, dog and I needed an escape after a long period of working non stop and this was the perfect place to relax. The house was immaculate and spacious. The pool area and patio had lots of seating and shade to kick back and read a book. We were in awe of the surrounding nature it truly felt like we were nestled deep in the woods which was perfect to unplug. I have already recommended Emma’s place to family and friends and I would love to come back in the future.

I am so happy we chose this spot for our getaway! The house is impeccably clean and very new, with all the modern features you see in the listing. The location is a huge plus—it’s situated in a very quiet area that feels private and serene, yet it's just a short distance from local parks. Our host was very responsive and kind, which made the whole process seamless and stress-free. If you are looking for a modern home that balances style with easy access to nature, this is it!

Emma’s place in San Mateo was truly the perfect place to stay long term (3 weeks for me!). Besides the fact that the home is as described in the listing, the master bedroom was perfect for me! The room got a lot of natural light and felt airy and comfortable during the day and at night the black out curtains kept all the light out so I can sleep in complete darkness. The master bedroom shower and sinks were super spacious with lots of drawers to put your things away in and the walk in closet was perfect for my long stay and storing suitcases/other belongings! For the shared spaces of the home —> the kitchen was kept extremely clean with very thoughtful guests and cleaners. Each time a guest left the home, the cleaners cleaned all shared spaces and mopped the floors and kept the home very clean! The area of San Mateo that the home is located in is very safe, close to Foster City for work, and only a few minutes away from grocery stores and coffee shops! 10/10 stay ⭐️

Overall the stay was great! It’s located in a peaceful neighborhood near 101, easy to get around to places. Beware though that the place is shared with 4 other people. I would come back around 8 every night and would have to find street parking a couple houses down, and it was especially hard to find on trash days. Some days would also be noisy depending on the other guests. One night past midnight one of the guests dragged something big and heavy across the hallway and woke me up. Another night there was a loud consistent thumping noise until almost midnight. Would recommend ear plugs just in case. I never got to use the kitchen because it was always taken during meal times. The refrigerator also had things probably leftover from the previous guest.

I always enjoy staying at Emma place and I recommend her place to everyone visiting Bay area very nice clean and just want evey guest just respect the surroundings and others 😊 just missing blender if Emma can provide 😊 one but I love ❤️ that place
